Shri Bajrang Baanश्री बजरंग बाणहनुमान चालीसा के बाद हनुमान जी का सर्वाधिक पढ़ा जाने वाला पाठ, जिसे परम्परा गोस्वामी तुलसीदास से जोड़ती है। «बाण» नाम इसके स्वर से है — यह स्तुति कम और पुकार अधिक है: भक्त हाथ जोड़े, राम की दुहाई देकर हनुमान जी को तत्काल दौड़ आने के लिए बुलाता है। बीच की चौपाइयों में लंका-प्रसंग संक्षेप में आता है — समुद्र-लंघन, सुरसा, लंकिनी, विभीषण, सीता-दर्शन, अशोक वाटिका, अक्षयकुमार-वध और लंका-दहन — और फिर «ऊँ हीं हीं», «ऊँ हुं हुं», «ऊँ चं चं चं» जैसे बीजाक्षरों के साथ रक्षा की याचना। भूत-प्रेत, बाधा और भय से रक्षा के लिए इसका पाठ विशेष माना जाता है। यहाँ सम्पूर्ण पाठ लिप्यंतरण और अर्थ सहित दिया गया है।After the Hanuman Chalisa, the most widely recited Hanuman text in the Hindi world, traditionally attributed to Goswami Tulsidas. The name “baan” (arrow) suits its voice: this is less a hymn of praise than a summons — the devotee, hands folded, invokes the oath of Ram to call Hanuman to come at once. The middle verses retell the Lanka episode in brief — the leap across the ocean, Sursa, Lankini, Vibhishana, the sight of Sita, the ravaged grove, the killing of Akshaya Kumara and the burning of Lanka — and then ask for protection through seed syllables such as “Om hrim hrim”, “Om hum hum” and “Om cham cham cham”. It is held especially potent against spirits, obstruction and fear. Shri Hanuman Ashtakश्री हनुमानाष्टक«संकटमोचन हनुमानाष्टक» — आठ पदों का यह पाठ परम्परा में गोस्वामी तुलसीदास से जोड़ा जाता है। प्रत्येक पद हनुमान जी के एक संकट-निवारण का स्मरण कराता है — बाल्यकाल में सूर्य-ग्रहण, सुग्रीव का उद्धार, सीता-सुधि, अशोक वाटिका में मुद्रिका, लक्ष्मण के लिए संजीवनी, नागपाश से मुक्ति, अहिरावण-वध और अंत में भक्त की अपनी पुकार। हर पद एक ही टेक पर लौटता है: «को नहीं जानत है जग में कपि, संकटमोचन नाम तिहारो» — अर्थात् जगत में कौन नहीं जानता कि आपका नाम ही संकटमोचन है। इसी टेक से पाठ का नाम पड़ा। हनुमान चालीसा के बाद इसका पाठ करने की परम्परा है।The “Sankat Mochan Hanuman Ashtak” — eight stanzas traditionally attributed to Goswami Tulsidas. Each stanza recalls one calamity Hanuman turned aside: swallowing the sun as a child, the rescue of Sugriva, the news of Sita, the ring in the ashoka grove, the sanjivani herb for Lakshmana, release from the serpent-noose, the killing of Ahiravana, and finally the devotee’s own plea. Every stanza returns to the same refrain — “Who in this world does not know, O ape, that your name is Sankat Mochan, remover of troubles” — and it is from that line that the text takes its name. Sankashtanashan Ganesh Stotramसंकष्टनाशन गणेश स्तोत्रम्गणेश जी के बारह नामों का यह संक्षिप्त किन्तु अत्यंत लोकप्रिय स्तोत्र श्री नारद पुराण से लिया गया है। कहा जाता है कि प्रातः, मध्याह्न और सायं — तीनों संध्याओं में इसका पाठ करने वाले को विघ्नों का भय नहीं रहता और विद्या, धन, संतान तथा मोक्ष — चारों की सिद्धि होती है। संकटनाशन अथवा «संकष्टनाशन गणेश स्तोत्र» के नाम से भी जाना जाने वाला यह पाठ छोटा होते हुए भी अत्यंत फलदायी माना गया है।A short but immensely popular hymn to Ganesha’s twelve names, drawn from the Shri Narada Purana.
