श्री गणेशपञ्चरत्न स्तोत्रम्Shri Ganesha Pancharatna Stotram
आदि शंकराचार्य द्वारा रचित पाँच रत्न-समान श्लोकों का यह स्तोत्र गणेश जी के स्वरूप, गुण और महिमा का अत्यंत काव्यात्मक वर्णन करता है। प्रतिदिन प्रातः श्रद्धापूर्वक पाठ करने से आरोग्य, संतान-सुख और समृद्धि की प्राप्ति बताई गई है।Composed by Adi Shankaracharya, these five jewel-like verses (with a sixth on the fruits of recitation) offer an exceptionally poetic account of Ganesha’s form, qualities and glory. Daily recitation at dawn is said to bring health, the blessing of good offspring, and prosperity.
॥ स्तोत्र ॥॥ Stotra ॥
मुदाकरात्तमोदकं सदा विमुक्तिसाधकं कलाधरावतंसकं विलासिलोकरक्षकम्। अनायकैकनायकं विनाशितेभदैत्यकं नताशुभाशुनाशकं नमामि तं विनायकम्॥
Mudakarattamodakam sada vimuktisadhakam, kaladharavatamsakam vilasilokarakshakam. Anayakaikanayakam vinashitebhadaityakam, natashubhashunashakam namami tam Vinayakam.
हाथ में मोदक धारण किए, सदा मुक्ति के साधक, कला-मुकुट से सुशोभित, लीलामय लोक के रक्षक; अनाथों के एकमात्र नाथ, गजासुर दैत्य के संहारक, प्रणाम करने वालों के अशुभ का शीघ्र नाश करने वाले — उन विनायक को मैं नमन करता हूँ।
Holding a modaka in his hand, ever the means to liberation, crescent-crowned, protector of this playful world; sole lord of the lordless, destroyer of the elephant-demon, swift remover of misfortune for those who bow to him — I salute that Vinayaka.
नतेतरातिभीकरं नवोदितार्कभास्वरं नमन्ति वन्दितेश्वरं नताधिकापदुद्धरम्। सुरेश्वरं निधीश्वरं गजेश्वरं गणेश्वरं महेश्वरं तमाश्रये परात्परं निरन्तरम्॥
Natetaratibhikaram navoditarkabhasvaram, namanti vanditeshvaram natadhikapaduddharam. Sureshvaram nidhishvaram gajeshvaram ganeshvaram, maheshvaram tamashraye paratparam nirantaram.
शत्रुओं के लिए भयंकर, उदीयमान सूर्य-सम तेजस्वी, वंदनीय ईश्वरों द्वारा भी नमित, नमन करने वालों की विपत्ति का उद्धार करने वाले; देवों, निधियों, गजों और गणों के ईश्वर, महेश्वर — उन परात्पर, नित्य-विद्यमान प्रभु की मैं शरण लेता हूँ।
Fearsome to adversaries yet radiant as the rising sun, saluted by the worshipped lords themselves, deliverer from calamity for those who bow — lord of gods, of treasures, of elephants, of the ganas, the great lord — I take refuge in him, supreme and ever present.
समस्तलोकशंकरं निरस्तदैत्यकुञ्जरं दरेतरोदरं वरं वरेभवक्त्रमक्षरम्। कृपाकरं क्षमाकरं मुदाकरं यशस्करं मनस्करं नमस्कृतां नमस्करोमि भास्वरम्॥
Samastalokashankaram nirastadaityakunjaram, dareterodaram varam varebhavaktram-aksharam. Kripakaram kshamakaram mudakaram yashaskaram, manaskaram namaskritam namaskaromi bhasvaram.
समस्त लोकों का कल्याण करने वाले, दैत्य-गज को दूर भगाने वाले, विशाल उदर और श्रेष्ठ गज-मुख वाले, अविनाशी; कृपालु, क्षमाशील, आनंददाता, यशदाता, मन को प्रसन्न करने वाले, वंदनीयों के भी वंद्य, तेजस्वी — उन्हें मैं नमस्कार करता हूँ।
Bringer of good fortune to all worlds, who casts out the demon-elephant, of vast belly and the finest elephant-face, imperishable; gracious, forgiving, joy-giving, fame-giving, worshipped even by the worshipped, radiant — to him I offer my salutations.
अकिञ्चनार्तिमार्जनं चिरन्तनोक्तिभाजनं पुरारिपूर्वनन्दनं सुरारिगर्वचर्वणम्। प्रपञ्चनाशभीषणं धनञ्जयादिभूषणं कपोलदानवारणं भजे पुराणवारणम्॥
Akinchanartimarjanam chirantanoktibhajanam, purari-purva-nandanam surari-garva-charvanam. Prapancha-nasha-bhishanam dhananjayadi-bhushanam, kapola-dana-varanam bhaje puranavaranam.
निर्धनों की पीड़ा मिटाने वाले, प्राचीन शास्त्रों में वर्णित, त्रिपुरारि शिव के ज्येष्ठ पुत्र, देवताओं के शत्रुओं का गर्व चूर्ण करने वाले; प्रलयकाल में भयंकर, धनञ्जय आदि के आभूषण-स्वरूप, मद-स्रावी पुरातन गजराज — उनकी मैं भक्ति करता हूँ।
Remover of the poor’s suffering, praised in ancient scripture, eldest son of Puraari Shiva, crusher of the gods’ enemies’ pride; terrible at the world’s dissolution, ornament of Dhananjaya and the like, the ancient elephant-lord with ichor at his temples — him I worship.
नितान्तकान्तिदन्तकान्तिमन्तकान्तकात्मजं अचिन्त्यरूपमन्तहीनमन्तरायकृन्तनम्। हृदन्तरे निरन्तरं वसन्तमेव योगिनां तमेकदन्तमेव तं विचिन्तयामि सन्ततम्॥
Nitanta-kanti-danta-kanti-mantakantakatmajam, achintyarupam-antahinam-antaraya-krintanam. Hridantare nirantaram vasantam-eva yoginam, tam-ekadantam-eva tam vichintayami santatam.
अत्यंत कांतिमय दांतों की चमक वाले, यम-भय के जेता शिव के पुत्र, अचिंत्य-रूप, अंतहीन, विघ्नों के छेदक; योगियों के हृदय में सदा निवास करने वाले उन एकदन्त का मैं निरंतर चिंतन करता हूँ।
Of exceedingly radiant, gleaming tusk, son of him who conquers death’s fear, of unimaginable and endless form, cutter of every obstacle; dwelling ever within the hearts of yogis — that single-tusked one alone do I contemplate, without ceasing.
महागणेशपञ्चरत्नमादरेण योऽन्वहं प्रजल्पति प्रभातके हृदि स्मरन् गणेश्वरम्। अरोगतामदोषतां सुसाहितीं सुपुत्रतां समाहितायुरष्टभूतिमभ्युपैति सोऽचिरात्॥
Mahaganesha-pancharatnam-adarena yonvaham, prajalpati prabhatake hridi smaran ganeshvaram. Arogatam-adoshatam susahitim suputratam, samahitayur-ashtabhutim-abhyupaiti sochirat.
जो प्रतिदिन प्रातःकाल आदरपूर्वक गणेश्वर का हृदय में स्मरण करते हुए इस पंचरत्न स्तोत्र का पाठ करता है, वह शीघ्र ही आरोग्य, निर्दोषता, सुसाहित्य, उत्तम पुत्र, दीर्घायु और अष्ट-समृद्धि को प्राप्त करता है।
Whoever recites this Pancharatna with reverence each morning, remembering the lord of the ganas in his heart, swiftly attains health, freedom from fault, fine learning, a worthy son, a long life, and eightfold prosperity.
