महाराष्ट्र की सबसे प्रसिद्ध गणपती आरती, जो संत रामदास ने मराठी में रची। गणेश चतुर्थी और गणेशोत्सव में यही आरती पहले गाई जाती है; हर पद के बाद “जय देव जय देव” का ध्रुवपद दोहराया जाता है।Maharashtra’s best-known Ganpati aarti, composed in Marathi by Sant Ramdas. It is the first aarti sung at Ganesh Chaturthi and through Ganeshotsav; the refrain “Jai dev jai dev” returns after every verse.

सुखकर्ता दुखहर्ता, वार्ता विघ्नांची। नुरवी; पुरवी प्रेम, कृपा जयाची॥ सर्वांगी सुंदर, उटी शेंदुराची। कंठी झळके माळ, मुक्ताफळांची॥
Sukhkarta dukhharta, varta vighnanchi. Nurvi; purvi prem, kripa jayachi. Sarvangi sundar, uti shendurachi. Kanthi jhalke mal, muktaphalanchi.
जो सुख करने वाले और दुःख हरने वाले हैं, विघ्नों की बात ही मिटा देते हैं; जिनकी कृपा प्रेम को पूर्ण कर देती है। सर्वांग सुंदर, शरीर पर सिंदूर का लेप, और कंठ में मोतियों की माला झलकती है।
Maker of joy and remover of grief, he ends the very tale of obstacles; his grace fulfils all love. Beautiful in every limb, anointed with vermilion, a garland of pearls gleaming at his throat.

The refrain — hail, O God, hail form of all blessing; at the mere sight of you the heart’s wish is fulfilled.
रत्नखचित फरा, तुज गौरीकुमरा। चंदनाची उटी, कुमकुम केशरा॥ हिरेजडित मुकुट, शोभतो बरा। रुणझुणती नूपुरे, चरणी घागरिया॥
Ratnakhachit phara, tuj Gaurikumara. Chandanachi uti, kumkum keshara. Hirejadit mukut, shobhato bara. Runjhunati nupure, charani ghagariya.
हे गौरी-पुत्र, आपका आयुध रत्नों से जड़ा है; शरीर पर चंदन का लेप, कुमकुम और केसर है। हीरों से जड़ा मुकुट सुंदर शोभा देता है, और चरणों में नूपुर तथा घुँघरू रुनझुन बजते हैं।
O son of Gauri, your weapon is set with gems; sandal paste, kumkum and saffron anoint you. A diamond-studded crown becomes you well, and at your feet anklets and bells ring softly.

Broad-bellied, robed in yellow, girt with the serpent king; straight of trunk, curved-tusked and three-eyed. Ram’s servant waits for you at his home — come to my aid in trouble, protect me at the last, O you whom the gods themselves honour!
