गणपति अथर्वशीर्षम् में वर्णित गणेश जी की गायत्री, जो एकदन्त और वक्रतुण्ड को नमन करते हुए सद्बुद्धि की प्रार्थना करती है। किसी भी गणेश-पूजन के आरम्भ में विशेष रूप से जपी जाती है।Ganesha’s own Gayatri, found in the Ganapati Atharvashirsha, which bows to the single-tusked, curve-trunked lord and prays for right understanding. Especially chanted at the start of any Ganesh worship.

ॐ एकदन्ताय विद्महे वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि। तन्नो दन्तिः प्रचोदयात्॥
Om ekadantaya vidmahe, vakratundaya dhimahi, tanno dantih prachodayat.
हम एकदन्त को जानते हैं, वक्रतुण्ड का ध्यान करते हैं — वे दंती हमें सद्बुद्धि की ओर प्रेरित करें।
We know the single-tusked one, we meditate on the curved-trunk lord — may that tusked deity inspire our understanding.

किसी भी गणेश-पूजन, गणेश चतुर्थी अथवा बुधवार के आरम्भ में 11 या 108 बार जपें।Recited 11 or 108 times at the start of any Ganesh worship, on Ganesh Chaturthi, or on Wednesdays.
